Lucky Lou's luck probably started back in 1957 when his parents had a little too much fun and WHAMO!!! guess what? His mom tried everything to have him before the first of the year, even as far as going bowling on New Year's Eve, but no such luck... Lucky Lou popped out early in the morning on New Year's Day, 1958! What a lucky break!!! Now he could get presents for Christmas and then a week later, it was his birthday! Tell me this wasn't planned in the womb!Lucky Lou was the oldest of three children, so he was lucky enough to be the first to get everything, even disciplined for being the first one to do something wrong! OK, maybe that wasn't so lucky, but as the years went by, he found out that it was worth it because it instilled in him some real moral values that paid off in time.
All in all, life was pretty good for Lucky Lou. He got a good education, had some good jobs, met some good people, and had some fun along the way. As time went on, he found a different kind of luck and had to start looking at the bright side of things.
After three failed marriages, several lousy breaks working his own businesses, and being jipped out of being a father to three of his four children, he stuck to his guns, worked hard, rebuilt his life and started a good foundation for his future. He fought hard to get his youngest son back after his last divorce and won! Things started looking pretty Lucky again.
Lucky Lou has been lucky for his friends also. He's found some good people to be around and has found the good in people who weren't so lucky and showed them how to look at the bright side. Taught them to dig deep inside to fine their own luck. Sharing the stories of how he came back from adversity, still smiling the whole way through, has helped a few people get out of the down side and start looking up.
